Howard Kingsnorth
Born in rural Kent ( SE England ) Howard studied 'Illustrative Photography' at Manchester Polytechnic. Moving to London, he started assisting and seeking commissions, working for music magazines in the Punk years, and moving on to catalogue studios, car studios and eventually establishing his own studio base in Shoreditch. He is still based there. Howard has worked in most genres of advertising photography, from large format still-life, automotive, both in and out of the studio, people, crowds, sports stars, celebrities and wide open landscape. Schooled in technique and craft, Howard has formulated his own distinctive style and is always keen to develop his look and innovate new ideas. Howard has been driven by his own personal work, and seeks to apply his vision to commissioned work when appropriate. He is always seeking to develop ideas alongside agency creatives when possible and is happy to share his knowledge and experience.
